Tasting Notes
Aromas of brambly blackberry, plum compote, tobacco, and floral violet
notes entice the senses. The wine opens with a fresh and bright palate, gradually unfolding
layers of fruit and density. Its vibrant flavors of blackberry and plum intensify, accompanied by
a subtle pepper spice and earthy tobacco undertones. Beautifully integrated tannins provide a

Vineyard Notes
Sourced from Luvisi Vineyards, our Zinfandel is made from vines planted in 1908. The block that we source our Zinfandel grapes from is planted in a 7’ x 7’ grid, which is to spacing specifications for horse-farming. While the heat and deep roots allow for the fruit to ripen with bold flavor, their age and the cool diurnal shift at night bring it the lifted freshness and subtle acidity to keep the wine well balanced and a true reflection of the terroir characteristics.
