Tasting Notes
The Chardonnay from Dutton Ranch Vineyards in the Russian River continues to deliver beautiful brightness and acidity. Partial Malolactic Fermentation and Neutral French Oak Aging give this wine a round mouthfeel for a lasting finish on the palate. Notes of Vanilla nut and honey on the nose. Dry minerality, lemon zest, apricot, stone fruits and a hint of chalk on the palate. Enjoy today, age up to five years.
Vineyard Notes
Our Chardonnay is sourced from the “Big Block” and the “Old Rome Block” at Dutton Ranch from vines that are a mix of the Wente Clone, Clone 15, and Mt. Eden Clone. The clusters are tiny, typical for the Sonoma Coast, and produce wines of exceptional clarity and brightness.
