If you are planning a trip, make it a point to attend our Fromage Fridays. The first and third Friday of every month between 3p and 7p features wine pairings with local goat cheese from the Backus family of Quixote La Manchas Farm. These tasty soft cheeses go great with our Sauvignon Blanc, Zins and Cab Franc. I especially enjoy them with Charbono.Soon, we anticipate hosting tours of the vineyards with the winemaker, Paul Smith, and grape grower, Jim Frediani (my Big Brother). You might even get to meet my Mom, out in the vegetable garden! After the tour you can return to the tasting room to sample our wines. Keep an eye out for upcoming dates.

There is a wonderful collection of photos and memorabilia from throughout Dick’s career and a great bit of our families’ history showing how we all connect clear back to our European roots! Stop by any time to enjoy wine on our Riverside patio with the cool breeze while awaiting a spa treatment or your lunch or dinner reservations at nearby restaurants.

to enjoy fine wine and unwind with friends.
In addition to excellent wine, the Vermeil Wines Tasting Room features numerous pieces of
sports memorabilia from throughout Dick Vermeil's successful coaching career.
The Tasting Room is full with more than just football memories, our collection of photos reaches
back to the early 1900's, with images of the Vermeil and Frediani families intertwined for generations.
Enjoy the sights and sounds of Calistoga (and some fine Vermeil Wines) from our quaint
outdoor patio, with a glorious view of Lincoln Ave. and the mountains to the east.
