The Napa Valley Film Festival showcases the best in new independent filmmaking and world cinema and takes place on the second full weekend of November each year. The festival will present 80 new films and 200 visiting filmmakers and industry executives. http://napavalleyfilmfest.org/
"The Greening of Whitney Brown" follows the misadventures of a privileged and popular Philadelphia teenager whose world is upended when her parents experience sudden economic problems that necessitate a family move to Whitney’s grandparents’ old farm in the country. There, far from her dizzying world of shallow girlfriends, texting, endless parties and school pressures, Whitney finds a new best pal: Odd Job Bob, a beautiful and spirited Gypsy Vanner horse, which is actually owned by Coach Dick Vermeil's neighbors, Ed Fitts and Sue Rathbone.
The film stars Brooke Shields, Aidan Quinn, and Kris Kristofferson who will be in attendance with her mom at both festival screenings: November 11, 6 p.m., at Calistoga Elementary School, and November 12, 11 a.m., at Native Sons Hall. NFL legend and Chester County resident Dick Vermeil plays a football coach in the movie. This film is being featured as part of the Napa Valley Film Fest.

16th Annual Calistoga Lighted Tractor Parade
The 16th Annual Calistoga Lighted Tractor Parade is the ultimate small-town holiday experience in a delightfully quirky parade. Vintage and modern tractors, antique trucks, and construction equipment bedecked with dazzling lights roll down Calistoga's scenic main street to celebrate the season and the city's agricultural heritage in a uniquely fun way. This popular Napa Valley event gets bigger and better every year and is perfect for the whole family. Be sure to dress warmly. This parade is an official event celebrating Calistoga's 125th Anniversary.
Parade starts in Downtown Calistoga at 7pm

The Tasting Room is full with more than just football memories, our collection of photos reaches
back to the early 1900's, with images of the Vermeil and Frediani families intertwined for generations.
Enjoy the sights and sounds of Calistoga (and some fine Vermeil Wines) from our quaint
outdoor patio, with a glorious view of Lincoln Ave. and the mountains to the east.
This elegant handmade quilt by Kathy Azeez, called “Wine in Crystal,” is displayed in our tasting room.
