Tasting Notes
This pure expression of 100% Cabernet Franc has aromas of blueberry, black cherry, and dried tobacco leaves with a floral elegance. A medium-full bodied wine with confectionary notes of baked blueberry, cocoa, and a firm tannin structure that will benefit greatly with time in the glass or in the cellar. Aging potential 10-15 years.

The parent grape to Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc often expresses the same denseness and richness of its offspring yet has a complexity that is all its own. We source our Cabernet Franc grapes from the small corner block fronting both Pickett Road and Rosedale Road in Calistoga from vines that are over 40 years old.
